Service Description:

The regional renal program provides critical kidney care to patients across the Central West region
Offer a wide range of kidney services including
- early diagnosis, treatment and monitoring
- treatment counselling
- dialysis
- preparation for kidney transplants and dual kidney/pancreas transplants
Depending on patient needs:
- connect patients with the services and supports they need, both at Osler and at partner facilities
- support and follow patient progress every step of the way
- offer services such as home dialysis, when possible, to promote a flexible, independent lifestyle
Osler partners with:
- St Michael's Hospital and University Health Network (for transplantation services)
- Ontario Health atHome, Brampton - Central West
- The Kidney Foundation of Canada
