Service Description:
|
Services and support to families * one-on-one consultations with an FASD worker as well as follow-up services with parents and caregivers of children with FASD
FASD services may involve:
- caregiver coaching to understand FASD and helpful approaches
- system navigation and connecting your family to community supports and services
- program provides an FASD lens during school meetings, case conferences, goal planning, etc.
- assists youth with transition planning to adulthood
- educating the school team and other professionals in a child’s life about FASD

Referral can only be made by a legal guardian or with consent and knowledge of a legal guardian
|
Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Children 0–18 years old, or up to 21 if in school * Must be currently living in Peel * Diagnosed with or suspected of having FASD * Clients do not require a formal FASD diagnosis to access FASD services
