Service Description:
|
Care for patients with acute to chronic respiratory conditions, including:
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- asthma
- pulmonary fibrosis
Patients served in this unit are those who have had or who need:
- oxygen therapy
- tracheostomies
- inhaler and nebulizer therapy
- infection prevention and control (e.g. negative pressure)
