Service Description: A longer-term residential program that assists self-identifying women and girls who have been trafficked and/or sexually exploited to receive specialized residential services and support in the Peel community. Provides an accessible, safe space that allows survivors, who have stabilized and demonstrate a readiness to move towards independence, lead their own recovery through individualized goal setting, skill development, and building of skills for independent living supported by trauma trained staff

Offers:

  • long-term (up to 2 years) housing option for female identifying individuals
  • 24/7 staff providing trauma-informed care and support
  • specialized supports (including safety planning, mental wellness, coping strategies, substance use, health care, individualized case management, systems of support, trauma counselling, etc.)
  • long-term program activities and supports that prepare and build skills for independence and promote self-efficacy (including: securing permanent housing, vocational and/or educational, employment, life skills, addressing barriers, etc.)
