Service Description:
|
The Clinical Ethics Internship Program (EQI) provides interns with opportunities to learn about EQI, support EQI projects and observe clinical ethics activities in the lab. In general, the program aims to:
- provide clinical ethics experience and opportunities for emerging ethicists and quality improvement specialists
- broaden the ethics resources available to Osler
- lead ethics quality improvement education across Canada
Lab activities generally include meetings, rounds, education events, policy development and consultations. Interns may also contribute to research, analysis and ethics tool development
In the clinical setting, interns are supervised by an ethicist. Each intern will work with Osler's Ethics team and develop personalized learning goals and strategies for the duration of their tenure
Clinical ethics interns are primarily located at Brampton Civic and also support activities at Etobicoke General and Peel Memorial
