This workshop will focus predominantly on face-to-face Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) systems for children with limited to no functional verbal speech, who are able to isolate a finger to point to an AAC system. Some simple voice amplification systems will also be reviewed. A brief overview of ADRS processes, referral criteria and funding options will also be provided.
