This group is for Autistic children ages 5-9 who want to strengthen their play skills while enjoying the outdoors!
Through peer interaction and engaging activities such as gardening, water play, sensory exploration, animal habitats and outdoor crafts. These activities will develop emotional awareness, fine motor and gross motor coordination, turn-taking skills, routine building and the ability to respond and follow instructions. Together, this group combines physical and emotional development while exploring their outdoor environment with friends!

A Kerry’s Place Intake staff will reach out to request updated documentation, as needed. Documentation includes: Kerry’s Place Service Agreement (valid for 1 year), Supported Person Profile (valid for 1 year), Media Release (valid for 1 year), and others as needed
The Kerry’s Place Intake staff will confirm registration for the specified group(s) requested, and ensure that the group(s) align with your child or youth’s strengths and goals.
You will receive a reminder email 48 hours prior to the session from the facilitators that will include further details related to drop-off and pick-up instructions, sign-in/sign-out procedures or Zoom link (if applicable).
You will have the opportunity to attend a sample session so your child can meet the staff facilitating the group and familiarize themselves with the space the group will take place in.
