CARES is an eight-week program led by our Family Engagement Facilitators that aims to help you navigate mental obstacles and prioritize your well-being as a caregiver.
Having facilitators who can relate helps with mental health interventions. Trained peer facilitators are able to support caregivers and reduce their burden. CARES is tailored for caregivers of children with special needs, addressing their unique social, emotional and psychological challenges.
Additional Information
Participant Criteria:
- Must be parent/caregiver of an active client of EOK under 18
- Encouraged to attend at least 80% of sessions during the eight-week period
- Must be parent/caregiver of an active client of EOK under 18.
- Encouraged to attend at least 80% of sessions during the eight-week period.
- Active participation during sessions is required to maximize the benefits of the CARES program.
