Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) Roundtables are a monthly drop-in group for Autistic youth, aged 14-18, who are experiencing a transition. This group gives participants the opportunity to engage in roundtable discussions on transition related skills, interact with each other, enjoy activities and discuss ways to cope with various transitions.
The Roundtable Topic will focus on the purpose and importance of routines. Participants will discuss and explore routine building skills, including recognizing when to apply the skills independently and ways to foster skill development, to promote independence.
This session will conclude with TAY Roundtable recommendations to encourage the application of strategies and skills taught during session.
