Get active, explore nature and reconnect!
This group program is for Autistic children and teens ages 12-17 who want to connect with nature and each other. It promotes physical and mental wellness by giving participants a chance to explore nature through hikes and walks, which has the proven benefit of promoting mental wellness and recovery from mental illness.
Parents and caregivers will be required to join their children for selected sessions.
This program is delivered in partnership between Kerry’s Place Autism Services and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
Participant Age: 12-17
Ratio: 5 participants and 2 staff
Cost: $220
Location: Week 1 & 6 to be located at St. Jerome Elementary School; All remaining weeks to be located at walk locations.
First Session Date: Tuesday, April 14, 2026
Last Session Date: Tuesday, June 16, 2026
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

- No Refund: fewer than 14 calendar days’ notice prior to service start date

Registration NotesPlease note: Once a group registration request is received on My Community Hub, a Kerry’s Place Intake staff will reach out to request updated documentation, as needed. Documentation includes: Written diagnosis of ASD, Kerry’s Place Service Agreement, Supported Person Profile (valid for 1 year), Media Release, and others as needed.
You will receive a reminder email 48 hours prior to the session from the facilitators that will include further details related to drop-off and pick-up instructions, sign-in/sign-out procedures or Teams link (if applicable).
