Living Life to the Full (LLTF) is a national flagship program of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). The program is a fun, group-based, mental health promotion course that encourages people to learn to thrive in life.
The course is for anyone dealing with stress, worry, low mood, or those needing help managing life's challenges. Living Life to the Full teaches practical self-management skills, using the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). During the course, attendees cover topics such as: self-confidence, problem-solving, motivation, dealing with unhelpful thoughts, and managing anger.
In eight weekly, 90-minute sessions, this program teaches people how to make helpful changes in their lives. Participants are taught how to deal with their feelings when fed-up, worried, or hopeless, and learn skills to help them tackle life’s problems.
The orientation will provide participants and their families with an opportunity to learn more about Living Life to the Full program and how they can benefit from participating.
Living Life to the Full Group will be delivered virtually via TEAMS and will not be recorded for future viewing.
