Service Description:

Independent tribunal which hears appeals on licence applications, renewals and changes that were denied by Municipal Licensing and Standards (MLS) Division and hears complaints about licence contraventions referred by MLS
The tribunal can:- approve or refuse an application for a licence
- approve or refuse the renewal of a licence
- place conditions on a licence
- suspend or revoke a licence
Lawyer/paralegal representation is allowed, but not required

None for hearing; if appellant chooses to retain a lawyer or paralegal, the appellant is responsible for their legal fees
