Respiratory Therapists treat a variety of breathing related problems, including:
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- asthma
- pneumonia
- tuberculosis
- pulmonary fibrosis
Care is provided to patients in:
- critical care
- emergency departments
- labour and delivery
- diagnostic testing departments
- private homes
Patients are provided with both Inpatient and Outpatient care
Outpatient services:
- Asthma Clinic - (located at Peel Memorial and Etobicoke General)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Services - (Virtual services)
- Pulmonary Function Lab - (located at Brampton Civic and Etobicoke General)
