Service Description:
|
Provide clients support with nutrition counseling for prevention and/or management of diet related illnesses. Educates and instruct clients on healthier food choices and how to prepare available foods in a nutritious manner. Working with a variety of Health partners, clients are screened for potential health risks, e.g. diabetes and hypertension. Health promotion workshops include topics such as healthy eating, Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Depression, Anxiety, Dental health etc.
