Service Description:

Biohazard bins and disposal of used needles, syringes and stems are provided through drop boxes in various locations. This allows for safe and anonymous disposal of used needles or syringes and drug use equipment, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Clients do not need to use the clinic services to have access to the needle drop box. Signs on the outside of the buildings provide directions to the drop boxes. The drop box is like a mail slot
Safe disposal drop box location: 24-hour needle drop box located at Peel Public Health clinic. This locations also accept sharps containers and used loose supplies

Additional options for safe disposal: Community Recycling Centres will only accept discarded sharps in a biohazard container. You can get biohazard bins from the community recycling centre, any fixed site, or by calling or texting 647-225-1623
