Service Description:

Empowers young women to take control of their lives. A comprehensive set of cognitive-behavioural programs and individual support services. Address the three main objectives of the Youth Criminal Justice Act:
- The prevention of youth crime
- The use of meaningful consequences
- Rehabilitation and reintegration through a relational supportive approach
The program:
- addresses the criminogenic elements common to most youthful offenders
- utilizes multi-component intervention focus to examine the cognitive process behind socially inappropriate behaviours
- provides guidance to produce problem solving skills and skill enhancement techniques
- encourages the young women and their support systems to fully participate in the program and to work on family and relationship issues
