Service Description:
|
The organization pursues systemic changes that will remove barriers and improve equity and opportunity for vulnerable women and children
Fighting Homelessness and Poverty: pursues positive changes to government policies and increases to public funding to provide needed housing and economic opportunities for deeply poor women to build brighter futures
Decarceration: advocates for the removal of systemic racism from the legal system. Also looks to reducing the criminalization of women and create opportunities for those in conflict with the law to rebuild stable lives in their community
Children’s Rights: JustKids programs and services were developed with the unique needs of children who experience parental incarceration, homelessness and substance use challenges in mind. Specialized supports can change the course of a child’s life for the better
