Service Description: Active and healthy living * a variety of programs designed to keep participants safe while staying active

Registered Fitness and Aquatic Programs: help participants commit to a specific program on a weekly basis, Programs such as: yoga, cardio, strength training classes, or aquafit

Fitness:

  • Beginner Yoga Flow - a creative form of yoga where poses are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence
  • Zumba Toning - incorporates light weighted toning sticks to the Zumba dance workout to enhance rhythm, build strength and tone
  • Step and Tone - low impact interval training class designed to burn calories, tone muscles and strengthen abs and core at participant's own intensity level making this suitable for all fitness levels. The program uses hand held weights, floor work and chair fitness combinations for a fun, effective workout
  • Cardio Tone - low impact interval training class designed to burn calories, tone muscles and strengthen abs and core at participant's own intensity level making this suitable for all fitness levels. The program uses hand held weights, floor work and chair fitness combinations for a fun, effective workout
  • Zumba- a dance fitness workout using Latin inspired and international rhythms featuring high - and low -intensity intervals that help improve cardiovascular, enhancing balance, coordination, agility, and strength
  • Chair Yoga - a gentle form of yoga that’s done while seated using a chair for balance, makes the practice more accessible
  • Hatha Beginner - the program will teach yoga poses, breathing practices, and awareness of mind and body to build inner and outer strength
  • Gentle Flow Yoga - a slow-paced, class that combines gentle movements with mindful breathing. Poses are linked in a light, flowing sequence with plenty of modifications. It helps improve flexibility, balance, and relaxation without intensity or strain. Participants should be comfortable transitioning from seated positions on the mat to standing and back down again as part of the flow
