Service Description:

On behalf of the Government of Canada Via Rail operates the national passenger rail service
For people 60 years of age and over - 10% discount all year long on the
Economy Plus fare and on regular Sleeper, Sleeper Plus and Touring fares
For people with special needs:- priority boarding and additional assistance
- trains equipped with wheelchair tie-downs, grab bars in washrooms and narrow wheelchairs for boarding, detraining and accessing the washrooms.

Some trains have baggage cars which offer another option to store wheelchairs or scooters during the trip
